thanks for the compliment. i shoot portra nc 160 film, without a filter. i overexpose all my images by 1 stop or so, so the highlights get a little hazy. also, i tend to shoot mostly on overcast days, so that adds to the quality of the skies.
A native of Orange County, NY, Gregg Evans graduated from the State University of New York at Purchase with a BFA in photography in 2005, and is currently working towards his MFA in photography at Columbia College Chicago. He is currently working on a series of images dealing with consumerism, the trash we leave behind, and distance between the products we buy and the ways in which those products are produced.
